Yes he did. And I think they are doing this to cut ties with Small 3 Records, and then, the changes he announced earlier will take place: My hopes are: 1. new Label Record 2. a completely Spanish record! That's something they have never done...yet!

Could it be perhaps a Praise and Worship project? I'd love to see that! Christmas would be cool too! Either way, NEW Stryper stuff, NEW record label!

You can already end the speculation. Here's the skinny: Stryper is teaming up with Lady GaGa on a the movie soundtrack for the upcoming Twilight sequal. I heard this firsthand from Tim's bass tech's assistant's nephew's brother. http://www.stryperweb.com

Because of the addition of "Breaking The Law" to Stryper's set at some shows...and the intent to put something together in such a timely fashion...I can't help but wonder and/or "wish" = Perhaps a disc of "covers" representing their influences like JUDAS PRIEST...IRON MAIDEN...SCORPIONS...VAN HALEN...etc..etc..????...Whatever it may be...Let the anticipation begin !!!!...Very cool !!!!

Then again...after re-reading Michael's post...where he writes = "it won't be what anyone expects and it will show a completely different side to Stryper that the world has never heard before"...My last post is probably way off and just a "wish"...lol...the "Christmas" disc sounds like a reasonable guess.

To put my two cents in either a spanish album or a christmas album. OR a christmas album in spanish.

Stryper has done Christmas music so unless they are just changing their style drastically I would assume that Mike isn't talking about a Christmas album. But who knows?
I'm sticking with my Stryper/Boston Pops (or similar orchestra) theory.

I was thinking the same thing. Michael mentioned it was something they've never done before. Wouldn't that have to rule out Christmas tunes? Hmmm.. Can't wait hear what it is!

1. I hope that they stop singing God's praises 2. I think & hope it will be a worship album - be it acoustic or not

WOO HOO!!!!!!! Christmas/Acoustic/Praise...it doesn't matter. Just as long as we can get them to record the "coffee-house" version of Honestly that Mike and Oz did at BB King's last year for GMA week! This gives me something to look forward to during my 12 month "vacation" in Afghanistan! LOL
